16 Associations Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Gobias Ltd (“Gobias”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles information when you use 16 Associations (“the App”) or contact us about it. 16 Associations is a free, local-first word-association and reflection app published by Gobias Ltd.
The short version
- The App does not require an account and does not contain advertising.
- The App does not use analytics, tracking, crash-reporting or social SDKs.
- Gobias Ltd does not operate a backend for the App.
- Your exercise and journal content stays in the App’s private database on your device.
- Gobias Ltd does not collect, sell, share or use personal data for tracking.
Information stored on your device
Questions, associations, connections, results and journal entries are stored in the App’s private database on your device. Gobias Ltd cannot access this content. You can delete individual saved sessions from the App.
Uninstalling the App removes its local data, subject to backups maintained by the operating system. Android cloud backup is disabled. On iOS, normal encrypted device-backup behaviour may apply. Gobias Ltd cannot retrieve or remotely delete information stored only on your device or held in a device backup controlled by you and the operating-system provider.
Typing, dictation and permissions
Every exercise can be completed by typing. Dictation is optional, and microphone and speech-recognition permission is requested only when you select dictation. The App does not retain audio recordings or transmit recordings to Gobias Ltd.
Depending on your device, language and settings, speech may be processed by Apple or the configured Android speech-recognition provider. Processing performed by those providers is governed by their own privacy terms.
Personal data and third parties
The App does not collect, sell, share or use personal data for tracking. It contains no advertising and uses no analytics, tracking, crash-reporting or social SDKs. Gobias Ltd does not operate a backend that receives App content.
If you contact support, Gobias Ltd and the email providers involved receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message and attachments. Please do not send private journal entries or sensitive personal information.
Children
16 Associations is a general-audience reflection tool and is not specifically directed at children.
